| Sister Jane began her pottery business in Spencer, WV in 1981. Colt Run Pottery was housed in a very small smokehouse on top of a root cellar on Colt Run holler. It remained Colt Run Pottery after she moved from Colt Run to Mingo County, WV to be the caretaker on the JASMER land trust on Marrowbone Ridge. |

| Her mountaintop pottery flourished there for another nine years. After 26 years in West Virginia, Sister Jane moved back to her hometown of Tiffin Ohio. The pottery's name was changed to Earth 'n Sisters Pottery. Her present studio is in the former laundry of the Sisters of St. Francis. She also teaches pottery to children and adults. |
